Got better and better with the defensive side the longer the game went on. Good performance and got us out of some sticky situations second half

I watched him closely tonight and thought he did really well.

Loads of clever little touches, body shifts etc. Linked well with other players and definitely showed more of a willingness to take players on.

That’s why Moyes handling of him & all our young players not been great imo.

Should have been afforded more minutes then he’s had this season.

Positive signs though…

Needs to be handled properly and patiently, his qualities can not be taught. Lets hope Moyes can straighten out the minor glitches.

Starting to see what made us pay the money now. With Grealish fit and on the left, he has to start on the right while Ndiaye's away.

One of his biggest doubters, but he really was very good tonight. Moyes will have loved the work rate, but his intelligence with the ball in tight spaces was what stood out.

Needs to build up the confidence to drive into space more, but happy to see him put in a performance like that
