2025/26 Tyler Dibling

No issue with the player and talent for me.

Issues with the price we paid and the holes in the squad that money could've filled.
This is a fair statement.

If we think back to summer there was a constant worry about filling the right mid slot, which turned out to not be a thing because N’Diaye has played so well there since.

Understandable that fans want to see impact from such an expensive signing - reminds me a little of Fellaini first coming in, except Dibling has played in the Premier League before I suppose.

Get the transfer request in lad, do it now.

You’ve got no chance here, as this manager thinks Dwight McNeil doing his impression of an empty crisp packet blowing around the pitch is a better option than you.

Diblings been managed appallingly badly by Moyes, how anyone can say he’s crap with the laughable lack of minutes he’s played for us is just insane.

He may well be, but a fair judgement can’t be made yet.

We do know McNeil is 100% crap however, so how is he selected…..

Has he though?

While McNeil has been poor but hes still an experienced premier league player since he was 18, been brought in against the league title favourites.

Dibbling's experience has been working with one of the biggest managerial frauds in british football.

Lads more than likely needs a lot of work at our level.

I'm not blaming the manager for being someone who can't develop young players, I'm blaming the recruitment team for bringing in young players who need developing. Grealish and Dewsbury Hall are older and more established players, and we've seen in his first spell how Moyes can work well with that type of player
Well the recruitment team is Moyes so he’s to blame. As far as transfers he’s effectively the de facto DOF.

Its the genuine lack of pace for me. Spent £70mill on Barry and Dibbling and none of them can run past a player.

For any technical ability they may have, they wont scare defences or stretch teams. There's not another option.

100% this, also if you look at the other RW targets they all had pace. Looking at the situation atm the decision to put Moyes in charge of transfers isn’t looking a good one.

Difficult to show what you can do when you only come on at 82 mins every third game, and only in the ones we’re already behind in, and you have brainless OBrien behind you.
Putting aside reservations on him, I think this point is irrefutable. TFG held a meeting with Moyes, several weeks back and raised his non playing of signings with him. I’m sure this will be raised again if he carries on with this approach.

Really? I’ve not seen that reported anywhere?

As I’ve said a few times on here though, the Friedkins will want a return on the 100 mill plus they invested.

It’s not been reported to my knowledge, I posted it on here awhile back. My mate works on the youth side at Everton and told me about it.Think it was after the Sunderland game. Don’t know what the outcome was but they were questioning him about it.

I grew up near Soton and all my mates said he’s the best prospect they’ve had since Bale./.

Ive heard in the England youth system he's rated in the highest possible bracket in terms of potential.

DM was the manager who signed Tyler for nearly 40m yet he does not select him. Why? Tyler needs games and encouragement but DM does neither. Ferguson said in a book that the job of a manager is to increase a player's self belief. Tyler looks like so many young players working for DM over the years.

It seems like Moyes is an outstanding manager for 27+ year olds.

Absolute dog dirt for u23s.

The Barkley-Zaha effect on players.

I like him, he's the same age as Harrison Armstrong, who many are up in arms about bringing back to Everton to play - because hes very young it may upset his development - yet here we are with Dibling.

His price task psychologically puts a different lense on it, but both are at the same stage of professional development.

I was one who wanted Armstrong in the squad and would never have signed Rohl (still wouldnt have).

Sadly id forgotten how poor Moyes is with young players.

Imagine having Dibling & Armstrong in preseason with the supporters excited to see both in the team and Moyes having them on the bench and mulling over where to loan them.

Moyes signed all of the players in the summer mate.

That was the recruitment team structure with him as the decision maker, Hammond to negotiate and Kinnear to sign off.

Hes neither gone for youth and developed them nor gone for short term experience and got the team flying into the european spots.

Oh, he did go for experience and they all rejected him bar two players unwanted at their clubs.
