2025/26 Tyler Dibling

He left a nice little taster there, just to wet the appetite..

….or he’s flattering to deceive.

I enjoyed that but I’d have loved him to be more dynamic as soon as he came off the bench, I’d say his first 5 or 6 touches were ‘safe’, when I wanted him to prove a point, a little demonstration we have the super talent so many suggest he is.

A bit better, though.

The super talents don't keep you waiting to announce themselves.

From Norman Whiteside to Wayne Rooney, they arrive early.

With all due respect to this kid, he's no super talent. I'd settle for a competent Premier League performer, in time.

There’s been ample games this season he could have came on in the last ten minutes, yet it’s hardly happened at all.

Not feel sorry? A young promising player, in a new city and known to be a home bird, yet he’s struggling for game time. I think sympathy is fair.

…our games tend to be tight, if we’re ahead then we’ll bring an Iroegbunam or Rohl on to defend what we have, if we’re down and chasing a goal we’ll bring Alcaraz on. He could’ve won us the game at Sunderland, he won us the game v Palace.

It’s a squad game, players are there to be used. If they want to be used more, then it’s up to them.

I reckon he’ll start next game unless Moyes has another option, no need to feel sorry for him as that’s why he’s here.

You can’t spend 40m on a guy that’s clearly not ready when you have zero fullbacks.

How is he "clearly not ready"?

He showed for the ball in moments where he could either turn and slalom past 3 players or play it back or sideways.

He has looked a massive talent but hasnt been given any real opportunity to show anything.

I’ve not seen him attempt to take anyone on yet.

The nutmeg, drive forward with the ball past the opposition player and inch perfect cut back for KDH?

I left on 90mins didn’t see that

I expected him to kick the ball back or sideways again but he stood up his man, megged him then ran towards the by-line and played a right footed ball back to KDH who was in/on the edge of their box (i think).

It was, dare i say the Ndiaye level of skill that was the 3rd most enjoyable moment aside from KDH's goal and Alcaraz' crossbar melter.

Seems afraid to make a mistake. Which isn’t what you want from a player like Dibling. Up to Moyes to give him some confidence.
Exactly, mediocre Coach and his team probably give him no freedom so he prefers to pass and keep possession and maybe others like Tarkowski tell him what to do, the problem is the mediocrity around him and amongst coaches

Nah. Moyes is many things - but if this fella was a massive talent and showing it, he'd be in the side.

Kid is developing and probably struggling with the move. Understandable. Calling him a super talent does him no favours. The super talents impose themselves on managers - they don't politely wait to be selected.
