Ndiaye plays in his position and is our best player.
I don’t care how good the lad is or might become, he’s not getting a start.
Now at what point could he come on… basically when Ndiaye is knackered and hopefully he’s done his job so we need to defend… well I personally think that’s a terrible time to bring on a young confidence needing winger - what if he makes a mistake defensively (not his strong point) and costs us points?
I’d only be playing him in cup games, games we don’t have Ndiaye and games that are finished… unfortunately we don’t score enough to have games finished with half hour to go so yesterday was the wrong end of that.
Now with this in mind and the fact we have no right back and no goalscorer you have to ask why we spent 70 odd million on him and Barry who both have good potential but aren’t up to what you could buy for that kind of money elsewhere.
That’s not Dibling’s fault or Barry’s fault and both of them could be future stars for us but Dibling especially felt like a good signing for someone like Chelsea who already have loads of depth and can afford to have a future star on their books getting money and slowly getting up to speed, not us.
