Understand its his first outing, and not match fit.. but just thought against a tiring lower league team he had a chance to get about them and even get a goal on his debut.

I noticed a few times he was calling for the ball but was stood extremely close to the opposition, to the point where our players were hesitant to pass it to him.

He's obviously very confident in his touch and control but not sure the others wanted to risk giving it to him in those areas!

Not at all. I didn’t mean to come across as negative. Reading back it does.

Just didn’t see him run much but again maybe it was his instruction/fitness etc.

I’m stoked to have him here. He will be massive for us.

Technically he’s excellent - lots of development to do but he’s got some great influences around him.

Purely an exercise on getting him on the pitch to sample the new surroundings in a game that was theoretically won, no? We’ve seen worse debuts/cameos - the Besic one vs Chelsea in the 6-3 way back when comes to mind, Keeley if you’re longer in the tooth. Think this guy is going to be fine.
