Didn't look up to much tbh did he?

Understand its his first outing, and not match fit.. but just thought against a tiring lower league team he had a chance to get about them and even get a goal on his debut.

He’s a bit Grealish like in his style, keeps the ball close to his feet and draws players in but I thought he’d be a bit more dynamic in his first appearance. He’s the type of player who prefers to drive when he’s higher up the pitch but he’s going to need to work on his defensive / tracking side - something the Southampton fans have been saying.

Imagine how nervous he was, 19 years old and only known the rest of the players for 2 days.

Did ok, wanted the ball and came short for it, surprised by how one footed he is and So definitely needs an overlapping full back.

Was a stroll in the park for him tonight. Kept it simple and didnt need to get out of first gear. You can tell hes a serious baller.

Looked like he just wanted to keep the ball and not try anything risky which is completely understandable . Shame we weren't a few up so he would had a chance to have a run at them.
