I'll give him as many chances as he needs the lad, and dont have any great expectations in his 1st season no matter the price, just thought it was a very subdued performance as a said against a tiring lower league outfit

He is 19 years old...he is nowhere near the finish product. Barely played in preseason...he has ability you can see that straight away. Needs to develop an understanding with his teammates and get up to speed fitness wise. Probably a super sub initially.

This was a great game for him to debut at home with the lads. Did nothing wrong. Kept out of trouble and will give us more options going forward (a thing we have been sadly lacking for a long time).

Rusty - but still got a little taste there of what he offers. This upcoming international break hopefully brings him right up to scratch fitness wise.

Was really nice to hear the reception for him from the crowd as well. He'll be buzzing with that I'm sure.

Yeah he looks decent on the ball. Did perfectly well for a first appearance after not much recent game time.

Didn't really get any opportunities to do anything. A good few times he got the ball with a mansfield player facing him up from about a yard away, tight on the touchline. It's just the way the play unfolded a few times. He found pockets of space off the ball. He'll come in to his own when he finds space and has players on the back foot.
