It'll change when we have a serviceable striker and two full backs who don't contravene the Trades Description Act.Hopefully that's changed..too much BK PTSD in that comment.

And starting a 19 year old against the best team in the league is absolutely the best way of building his confidenceAbsolutely yes I would.
But I just don’t feel strongly enough that should ever be the reason someone else starts ahead of a very talented, exciting player that we’ve invested so heavily in. Especially in a position where you can ‘risk’ younger players, it’s like we are starting a 19 year old GK of CB for example…
I’m also agitated with generally how Moyes treats younger players. He’s playing a very risky game. Young players, especially ones that are rumoured to be very quiet/shy as Dibling, must feel soul destroyed.
He was deemed good enough for 90mins against them last season in a relegation battle. And starting a 19 year old against the best team in the league is absolutely the best way of building his confidence
I’m sure you know much more than Moyes about managing young players mate, if only he’d listen to the likes of you eh
We cannot afford the luxury of "buying potential" when we haven't the ability to put out a competent full XI in the here and now. Signing Dibling only made sense if he was coming in now. Anything else is self-indulgence and a dereliction of duty. You cannot buy for the future when you do not have a present.
For what it's worth, this signing above all tells me that there is a massive disconnect between the manager and the "competent professionals". This was never a Moyes signing. Not in a million years.
But we spent 40m on Dibling. Not 9m, like Aznou. We got proven talent like KDH for far cheaper than we paid for Tyler...
Someone needs to be sacked over the transfer. Either Moyes doesn't rate him and then why the duck would you sign him or he's crap then the DOF should be sacked.
Angus is covering his arse with his "two out of every three transfers fail" line. Well, Angus, you are right on track for that KPI with Barry and Dibling.Someone needs to be sacked over the transfer. Remind me how that game went? And the relegation battle? He was deemed good enough for 90mins against them last season in a relegation battle.

Absolutely right. We should sack Moyes immediately for giving us the most stability we’ve had in years but failing to play teenagers and possibly playing KDH (who has been one of our best signings in years) out of position in some games. The Athletic have said this signing was driven by Moyes - as have i-news or whatever its called.
Its a Moyes signing. He simply doesnt play teenagers.
Not to forget Moyes has used KDH out of position most of the season.
That's harsh. We can wait until the summer.Absolutely right. We should sack Moyes immediately for giving us the most stability we’ve had in years but failing to play teenagers and possibly playing KDH (who has been one of our best signings in years) out of position in some games.
