2025/26 Tyler Dibling

35 million isn’t a lot of money these days, very middling money for the premier league. Kind of betrays a small time mentality if people are expecting him to be our star player already, or he should be putting in a transfer request. If you’re going to be up there in the league, you are going to have 35-40 million quid players on the bench. Up to him to earn a spot.

Look, I hope McNeil rips it up tonight, but this situation with Dibling is a real cause for concern.

He’s either a total dud (which I seriously doubt) or Moyes for what ever reason isn’t having him.

His treatment of him is shameful at this point.

What a waste of 35 million (and that’s not something I blame Dibling for)
Especially since:
1. Moyes signed off on signing him
And
2. Moyes was whinging about 'only having £30m to spend on a striker'.

Shocking.

People saying the treatment of his is shameful… if the rumours are true and he isn’t doing it in training Moyes is right not to trust him in a game.

He’s still so young, give the lad time, let’s see what happens.

Lazy excuse to beat the manager with, considering how much he’s improved the team.

It's a hell of a lot of money for a team with no full backs or serviceable striker.

A scandalous waste of limited resources.

Also we’ve paid that for his potential - the ceiling people believe he will have, not necessarily where he is at now. Throwing him in to start against the league leaders could have done more harm than good to him if his confidence isn’t up at the moment. Needs to be brought in gradually. But we definitely do need to see more of him than we have done so far

Or we are buying potential. If we didnt sign him, there would be plenty in 2 or 3 years when he is ripping it up for Brighton saying ‘why don’t we ever go for players like that’. It’s perfectly fine to play the long game.

Needs to be asking to go out on loan or, even better for him, a full transfer. You know you're hated by the manager if you cannot get a game in your natural position ahead of left winger Dwight McNeil being played massively out of position.
Or you might be 19 years old and playing against the best team in the league?

Honestly people wetting the bed about this is bizarre
