Yes, Kent. Yes, it is.It’s gonna be McNeil isn’t it
Why? Because he’s not starting a game of football?I feel terrible for the kid
Especially since:Look, I hope McNeil rips it up tonight, but this situation with Dibling is a real cause for concern.
He’s either a total dud (which I seriously doubt) or Moyes for what ever reason isn’t having him.
His treatment of him is shameful at this point.
What a waste of 35 million (and that’s not something I blame Dibling for)
It's a hell of a lot of money for a team with no full backs or serviceable striker.35 million isn’t a lot of money these days, very middling money for the premier league. Kind of betrays a small time mentality if people are expecting him to be our star player already, or he should be putting in a transfer request. If you’re going to be up there in the league, you are going to have 35-40 million quid players on the bench. Up to him to earn a spot.
Also we’ve paid that for his potential - the ceiling people believe he will have, not necessarily where he is at now. Throwing him in to start against the league leaders could have done more harm than good to him if his confidence isn’t up at the moment. Needs to be brought in gradually. But we definitely do need to see more of him than we have done so far35 million isn’t a lot of money these days, very middling money for the premier league. A scandalous waste of limited resources.
As we all expected.I've never been more certain of anything in my life.
Or you might be 19 years old and playing against the best team in the league?Needs to be asking to go out on loan or, even better for him, a full transfer. You know you're hated by the manager if you cannot get a game in your natural position ahead of left winger Dwight McNeil being played massively out of position.
