2025/26 Tyler Dibling

tbf we said DCL was cack and Leeds would regret signing him and yeah he's had some shocking misses however he's still scored a few goals for Leeds

i'd take saints fans comments with a pinch of salt
Who said that?

DCL isn't cack and never has been, he's not top level, but he's a decent premier league striker, his overall game was always solid, he was just cack at 1 on 1 finishing.

His time was deffo up at Everton though, fans lost their love for him, he lost his love for our fans, etc.

U21's has come down to lack of minutes, Carsley always backed him, and you could see the lads around him had full confidence giving him the ball.

When you look at that squad they have, it is pretty damn impressive
and that's including the bench.

Yes, you could say it is only u21's, but his name was on that team sheet until lack of gametime. Which is natural.

….i meant Everton U21s ;). I’m surprised he hasn’t been given games for our U21s, perhaps again pointing to personal issues.

I think if you have no idea about Tyler Dibling, his character, his family unit, his neurodivergence (if applicable), how he’s settling in the North West, the staff and team around him helping him settle and the manager’s personal plan for integration within the squad then it’s probably best not to keep speculating. It’s probably even more pertinent not to form an unhealthy and relentless obsession over it. I think he should have had far more meaningful minutes and cameos by now but Moyes probably still irons his underpants and sets 3 alarm clocks before he goes to sleep at night.

We will know if the manager has got this right or wrong when Dibling gets an extended run in the team and not until then. This bus-stop gossiping about his character (while citing his Chelsea non transfer without any context around it) is tedious and unhelpful at best.

I mean it’s nearly Xmas, he’s scored 3 tap ins and was almost single handedly responsible for their cup exit. He’s not been any different than anything we watched for years.

….i just find it totally illogical that if Moyes has a top player capable of positively impacting football matches then he’s not using him because he’s ’risk averse’.

Moyes sanctioned the deal, he clearly rates the lad. None of us know what’s happening but folk seem convinced it’s all down to Moyes, I just wonder if it’s something else.
Moyes history with young players would suggest that it's Moyes, If he had a past of getting young lads into his teams then I'd be more inclined to agree with you.
