2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Was thinking last night that that team is 2 first team players away from being really competitive. The midfield we had on the pitch at the start is fantastic, Pickford is great and the centre backs are good enough. The issues are basically our full backs and our striker. Really strange that, in particular, we didn’t try and get a better full back in
we literally did try to get a FB in, we just failed, and I got the sense we wanted woltemade over barry but knew we couldnt get him

I will say out of every other opportunity I can understand why he didn't play last night but this is getting concerning.
this is about the size of it for me. I get the choice last night to see the game out, but with Iliman off to AFCON, I'll be gutted if Dibling isnt getting minutes at that point.

Ive got a lot of time for Dwight given what he managed the last couple of years, but Dibling is the future. You would have to assume it will be a tighter call than with Iliman about, and maybe Dibling will mix it up a bit more with Dwight, maybe coming on for last 30 mins or something

I know what you mean but I do think there is an element of easing him in and at the same time putting McNeil in the shop window as I don't think he will be here much longer tbh.

Surely even Everton can't spunk £40m on a young player and write him off after three months when he has hardly touched a ball in that time. He is still very young but somehow some of our fanbase expect prime Gareth Bale/Messi and even they, especially the former, took until their early twenties to really establish themselves. Let's give the the lad some space and time to develop. If he doesn't then it's a really bad call on our part but, quelle surprise, he will potentially go on to become a 'worldie' somewhere else.

Per Kroldup vibes. Signed for the equivalent today for £29.5 million, played one match.

Did Kinnear sign him without telling Moyes?

….Moyes will have sanctioned the deal we can be sure of that but he still has to earn game time, look over the park to two £100m signings who are struggling for games.

Bit strange we rarely see him on club media outputs and in an U21 game or two. Maybe the press could ask Moyes a specific question about him.
