Well N'dayie went off injured on Monday and Moyes brought on that established right mid McNeil so I'm far from sure about your argument mate.
….given the game situation, I admit that I’d have brought McNeil on. I know it’s not trendy to admit that but I could understand the rationale.
McNeil has been one of our better players for 18 months, Dibling has been a big disappointment. McNeil then literally stunk the place out with his performance, he was awful. I suspect the baton will now pass back to Dibling, it’s up to one of them to grasp an opportunity.
A bit like alternating Harrison/Lindstrom and Beto/Barry. There will always be a clamour for the one that isn’t used, especially Dibling because he’s a big bucks signing and we all want him to be the real deal.

….i never get this ‘give him a run’ point. He started against Palace and was so disappointing he got hooked at half-time. His cameo’s have been poor. Points are valuable in this league, he’s not starting ahead of Grealish or Ndiaye.
I presume we haggled for him because we thought he’d be very effective, the simple truth is he’s been poor. It happens.
We live in hope. After McNeil disappointed I expect Dibling will be next to get a chance, it’s time to step up young man.
Take Moyes out of the equation, any Manager would be desperate for Dibling to start performing. To think a manager would hold him back defies logic, it’s up to Dibling to prove his worth.

If he's a shy kid who needs careful handling and his confidence building up, I'm not sure he's got the right manager. Poor due diligence from us if that's his character, and poor due diligence from his agent for allowing him to come to a club with an old fashioned manager, which is probably one of the reasons why a lot of players don't want to come to Everton at the moment.
