Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

i think he massively improves us, he shone for one of the worst ever sides in the premier league

playing alongside the likes of KDH, NDiaye, Alcaraz and maybe even the likes of Grealish will bolster his game further

it’s a huge price which is concerning, but he is a huge prospect

we have gone from scraping around for loan deals for Lindstrom and Jack Harrison to play right wing, to throwing down 50mil for one of the biggest prospects in england

no pleasing some people

A couple is 2. Don't be continously stupid . We are educating you here.
On topic let's sign a couple of players today. Dibling and Dewsbury Hall.
It’s on topic. About this kid’s U21 international caps.

Not according to Oxford dictionary, Grok or even those people who speak English at Reddit. In most cases 2. Informally speaking, it can be two or more. Here is the education for you.

According to the Oxford Dictionary, "a couple of" is defined as "two or a small number of (informal)." This means it typically refers to two but can also imply a small number, such as three to five, in informal usage. For example, saying "a couple of friends" could mean two or a few (e.g., 3–5) depending on the context.

In the sentence "He got a couple of international caps," the phrase "a couple of" aligns with the Oxford Dictionary's definition: "two or a small number of (informal)." In this context, it most likely refers to two international caps, as the term "caps" in sports (e.g., soccer or rugby) typically denotes specific, countable appearances for a national team, and "a couple of" traditionally leans toward exactly two in precise contexts. However, in informal usage, "a couple of" can stretch to mean a small number, potentially 3–5. Given the specificity of "international caps," which are distinct and countable achievements, it’s reasonable to interpret "a couple of" as likely meaning exactly two, though it could imply 3–4 in a looser, conversational sense. To verify the exact number, context is key—e.g., checking the player’s record or the source of the statement. Without additional context, the range is most likely 2 but could informally extend to 3–4. If you have more details (e.g., the sport or source), I can help narrow it further by searching for relevant information.

Listening to Boyland podcast this morning and he thinks its become a difficult deal to do.

Said he's not as confident as if was last week about getting it over the line.
It will get done...if not today, then closer to deadline day. Saints are pushing as much as they can...they will quickly realise than they have reached the max they can get for him

Everyone is under the assumption Saints will buckle,Just me personally I don't think it's as cut and dry as that.

He's got 2 years on his deal so think they'll sit tight.

Fernandes looks like he's out as well so that more dough coming in.

Interestingly there is a private jet due to land at John Lennon Airport at 17:26 tomorrow evening from Southampton. This could well be irrelevant, or it could be an indicator that a deal is close and the player may be travelling on that plane to complete the transfer.
Apparently the same private jet is flying from by Chelsea’s training ground to Liverpool today and then flies to and from Southampton tomorrow…
