He also said the dewsbury hall deal is looking more likely, when that was agreed last night. I mean come on. Apparently it’s basically over a few more million. We’ve negotiated all week, I doubt we pull out now

I listened to a Southampton journalist the other day, he was saying that they need money. So unless the club think they can sit and get another 10mil of a spurs or Newcastle, they’re playing a risky game

Interestingly there is a private jet due to land at John Lennon Airport at 17:26 tomorrow evening from Southampton. This could well be irrelevant, or it could be an indicator that a deal is close and the player may be travelling on that plane to complete the transfer.

You’d think if they refuse to sell him, which is their right, they will have to give him a new contract on wages almost akin to what he’s been offered by PL clubs. Thats the usual way if they want one more season out of him without him having a cob on.

That would also put a bit of risk back on them if he is crap/injured and they don’t get promoted.
