Bought one of these Samsung 44 inch LED bad boys last week and the picture is nothing short of phenomenal. 1.5cm thick and weighs next to nothing. Ive been 'studying' it all week and watching the HD Channels on terrestrial TV here and watching things like Nascar and the Cricket, is like being there.

Would you do your dough on one? I always said I wouldn't but now I have playing the PS3 is in another dimension.

that looks class(y)

A couple of years ago i bought a sony bravia 55" rear projection TV. I went for quantity but the quality is allright to it brings ps3 into a new dimension. The only bad thing is its a pain in the whole with the sunlight.

An LED TV.....that is a whole hunk of cash there McB. We have a 42" LCD TV that crapped itself (inverter died). We are looking to replace it, and while an LED one would be fantastic, it isn't gonna happen due to price.

I bought my first flat screen last xmas. Nothing special mind, just a panasonic vierra for about £500. Bloody superb now watching Judge Judy on it I have to say,

As far as I know, LED TV's are still LCD...the main differece is LED's are used as the backlighting, that's why their black level performance is so much better than a standard LCD.

Too steep of a premium on them right now for me to even contemplate buying one but they do have a nice picture.
