As far as I know, LED TV's are still LCD...the main differece is LED's are used as the backlighting, that's why their black level performance is so much better than a standard LCD.

Too steep of a premium on them right now for me to even contemplate buying one but they do have a nice picture.

Yep, was a chunk of change.

The picture is worth it I reckon.

cant beat thick warbies with butter mate, dont like that thin stuff.
