River on the Beeb on Tues evenings. It started last week and I sort of half-heartedly was expecting the same old same old cop drama, but it is very different and certainly very watchable so far.

Getting to the end of the first series of boardwalk empire and finding it a little dull. Does it get better or should I knock it on the head and try something else?

Going to start boardwalk empire tomorrow. Hope to get all 5 series done by early next week.

Blimey, why the rush? That's a lot to get through, you'll be a bit jaded watching that back-to-back. It's a good series, as with anything Scorcese you have to keep an open mind, there's loads of characters who you never really manage to figure out who they are, what they're up to, and in some cases, what their names are! It's well filmed, has a good underlying storyline, dips a bit around Season 3 but I'd say it works out pretty well across the 5 series.

Prefered Narcos myself but enjoyed Gomorrah like defo be watching the second series.

Season 2 of boardwalk empire a lot stronger than the first for me. Just watched the first episode of season three and it looks good looking forward to finishing off the show.

Finished narco's . 6/10 wasn't that impressed at all.

Fargo next I think . Is it worth watching the film first or not ?

Started tonight - watchable, but very strange time slot considering it's quite violent - 6.30 on a Sunday night.
