This is the band that's being followed in series two. From reading the reviews series two sounds much more " Spinal Tap ". So I think you may be right about the switch from BBC 2 to BBC 4.

Im probably a bit late in saying this but me and the missus were recommended This is England a couple of weeks ago, we have watched the film and the 3 mini series (11 episodes) in just over a week, pretty much the best thing we've see along with Breaking Bad. Would highly recommend, theres some dark dark scenes in it that even had me saying 'WTF' and I don't usually get shocked by TV programmes. Bit gutted we have finished it now tbh

I thought it was way over rated tbh and not a patch on breaking bad, the wire, justified etc
Enjoyed the blacklist even if it did lose a bit of edge.

since wrapping working abroad 3 months ago, I've been catching up on TV that I missed.
Everyone advised me to watch "Breaking Bad". I persevered with the slow start .. now can't wait for Series 6. My sisters suggested "Orange is the New Black", series 1 & 2 were enjoyable enough, gave up 2 episodes into series 3, much of a sameness.
Started to catch up with Shameless as I hadn't seen it since Series 6. Brilliant, though there does seem to be an inordinate amount of shagging in it .. or is it that I've reached 'that' age ?
