The ratings were are good enough after series one in the States to attract the likes of Kirsten Dunst and Ted Danson for series 2.

I did read that this one is effectively a 10 hour film, the cinematography and photography was one of the best I have seen in a recent TV show by a long way. Only Rectify and the Returned (FR) comes close.

Spot on, it's filmed in an almost perpetual gloom or darkness, which adds to the overall atmosphere. The subtle black humour with the undercurrent of menace that runs through it is superb .

Homeland season 5 started off with a weird one.

Hannibal season 3 is just baffling. 6 episodes in and it's an absolute chore to get through.

I gave up after episode 3 but to be fair wanted to give up halfway through season 2
