Where do the Russians come into this? How do you find out about the upside down or the technology to open it or anything about it really? The whole theme running through S3 really confused me and I feel like I missed something key.

It's deffo Hopper. You can't see him when the gate key is about to explode - he's missing from the right-hand side of the shot. Plus, they've always shown a body with a proper death.

I thought that at first but people further away from the machine than him blew up, he could have popped over the barrier but survive? Hmmmmmmm. I mean it is him but like wtf are the logistics.

Someone on Reddit speculated that the evil doctor from the past seasons (can't remember name) switched sides to the USSR and told them about his research.

Just finished - Killer Ratings ( Netflix )

Compelling and very well done.

Seven part doc on a real life crime show in Brazil where the host was allegedly setting up murders to boost the shows ratings.

Some of the stuff that went on is just off the scale.

Recommended. The type of thing Netflix does very well.

Now done three episodes and love how it flip flops from you thinking its a great big set up to "blooming hell he really is this devious gangster". Some crazy parts of the world where I'm very glad I don't have to live.

Upto episode 5 of Gallipoli. And I'm really impressed. Episode 1 was awesome. Episodes 2-4 consolidated the story and introduced the characters. Episode 5 just took things up 3 notches.

A real insight into the visceral horror of WW1 trench warfare, with the focus on the troops in the dirt fighting for their lives.
