not surprising considering its Jesse Armstrong who wrote on Peep Show, In the Loop, Black Mirror and The Thick Of It. fine pedigree

Just finished - Killer Ratings ( Netflix )

Compelling and very well done.

Seven part doc on a real life crime show in Brazil where the host was allegedly setting up murders to boost the shows ratings.

Some of the stuff that went on is just off the scale.

Recommended. The type of thing Netflix does very well.

Will start this tomorrow after work. I trust your judgement of telly (not much else though). Cheers for heads up mucka.

stayed up til 3am watching stranger things.

I did not sleep well. fk me that was intense. No spoilers nerds, only on episode 4, the sauna scene was arse clenchingly scary, Billy scares the beejeezus outta me. Great character.

I was trying to explain to my missus last night about this TV show that was on when I was growing up and she would not believe me at all.

Basically it was a present and some sort of professional burglar breaking into your house so they could tell you you need to up the security. Anyone remember it?

I realise i am late to the party with this one but just watched the first 2 episodes of Chernobyl.. and i love it! Its scary but from what i have seen so far i can just imagine thats exactly how it went!

I thought the first 3/4 episodes were piss poor Bry, finished the season last night.
