Just finished first six or so episodes of this. Took a while to get going but by the end of this series there were several laugh out loud jokes each episode. Deffo going to carry on with the later series...

Anyone watched The Mechanism? Brazilian but meant to be quite good. I watched about 10 mins and wasn't sure if it was worth the dub/sub effort.

The pub scene was txt book Meadows - a real boozer, using people who drink in there, rather than extras.

Meadows stuff can be hit and miss, but when it’s good, it’s outstanding.
