The Last Kingdom. Brilliant series of books but the casting has been woeful and the series a bit meh. I still watch it, but I have to put away all thoughts of the brilliant book series. The bloke playing Uhtred for example. In the books he is described as something like Chris Hemsworth or the bloke who plays Ragnar in Vikings. In the series he looks like he is a fan of anal bleaching and has professional manicures.

It`s like nothing I`ve ever seen before ( except when I was younger and used to do lots of mushies ).
The ending was just incredible, one of the most powerful endings of anything I`ve ever seen ( inc films ).

He was awful in that yourkshire hospital series the Royal his accent was dire......The little drummer girl is good so far .....
Seen two episodes very promising so far ....
He won a BAFTA for that Joey and later went on to star alongside Patrick Stewart in Macbeth, at the Globe.
