You all need to get onto Godless on Netflix. New Western series, 6 episodes long with Jeff Daniels playing the villain and very well I might add.

Some top filmography with the shots of the Colorado wilderness. The story seems slow but you have to pay attention to the first episode as big details of the story are slipped into quiet conversations. It's been great so far, think I watched 4 episodes with the missus last night

The Defenders

I enjoyed the slow build-up and it's great to see Daredevil, JJ, LC and Iron Fist together, but the story wasn't really all that interesting and I struggled to get invested in what was going on. One of the main reasons for that is Electra, a character I don't feel adds anything at all to the series even though she get's a ton of screen time. Just another bland 'tough fighter chick' with zero emotions.

Sigourney Weaver on the other hand did very well as one of the villains and I was glad to see that they made Iron Fist more likeable here, actually he's not far from being the most likeable character in the entire thing. Taking everything into account I found the series a bit underwhelming, sadly. It's enjoyable enough and it's never bad, but it's not amazing either (and it really should've been, after five seasons setting this up). The ending also felt a bit abrupt, considering how much time they spent on the build-up. 6/10

Is the actress for Elektra the same one who was in daredevil?

If so, she is ridiculously attractive...

Im so behind everything, watched the 1st epi of the new Mr Robot season last night, WTF is going on, it hurts my head.

Still got Mindhunters and Ozark(dunno how to spell it) to watch, plus I might watch that Punisher if I get any time!

I believe it is. Doesn't make her a good actress or an interesting character though. If that was my only expectation I'd visit pornhub instead.

Mrs MB is an avid reader and got me into crime novelists such as Ian Rankin (Rebus fame) Val McDiarmid (wire in the blood etc). I am a great fan of Criminal Minds on Sky Living which is now in its 13th series depicting the work of a fictional FBI BAU (behavioural analysis unit) based at Quantico.The quality of the programme has varied somewhat over the years but I am a hopeless addict. Hence one of the reasons that I found Mindhunter so compelling...truth is indeed stranger than fiction.
