TV Series

yeh i thought the 2nd series was inferior to the 1st too

Really, having read the book it's based on , I thought the second series was immense.

Give or take, it follows the book very closely, which when you think of the subject matter, was very difficult.

I thought the way it portrayed Escobars decent into paranoid murderous megalomania was superb.

They never pulled any punches in portraying him as a monster.

yeh i read the book too, just thought the 1st series was better.

Just finished watching season two of Stan Lee's Lucky Man. Found it surprisingly entertaining and a vast improvement on season one. Hope it gets a a third season because it really does have potential to be even better.
I gave up halfway through the second series
Personally thought it could've went a different way
Thought the first series was good .
Each to their own

I was introduced to a show called one punch man the other day by a friend.

All i can say is Wow. Imagine a completely random and parody anime played for seriousnes and it doesn't do it justice.

Basically premise is OPM can beat people with one punch, so he hates life and is bored by it all. But the enemies are very OTT and silly most of the time on purpose, like a man who eats too much crab to become crabman, battling a child because he drew nipples on him.

Pretty much the sillyness of it all.

The whole family (from me all the way down the the 6 year old) love One Punch Man.

Eagerly awaiting season 2!!!!

Also, he doesn't hate life.....he is just bored by being so ridiculously overpowered that he is waiting for someone to come along and actually give him a challenge.

The best part for me is him being the most powerful superhero, but still slugging along as a Grade C trying to make ends meet and getting treated like a grade C superhero!

Anyway....

Bill Burr's F is for Family.

Holy crap! What a show!! Raunchy in a way that Family Guy wishes it could be, but also tackles some real issues that people went through in suburban USA in the 1970's.

WAtched a couple of those...so depressing, but then uplifting at the end!
