TV Series

I've somehow managed to get through the 5 episodes so far. No idea how as I think it's awful. Sort of waiting to see if it takes off but think I'm going to give up after watching the last couple...
You made it further than me mate. Meant to be the new game of thrones? Pfft I think it's awful

Just watched the whole series of Clique back to back on BBC Iplayer. Goes to show what can happen when you get in with the wrong crowd.

Some fit birds though.

I was introduced to a show called one punch man the other day by a friend.

All i can say is Wow. Imagine a completely random and parody anime played for seriousnes and it doesn't do it justice.

Basically premise is OPM can beat people with one punch, so he hates life and is bored by it all. But the enemies are very OTT and silly most of the time on purpose, like a man who eats too much crab to become crabman, battling a child because he drew nipples on him.

Pretty much the sillyness of it all.

I've not seen the series yet (will do at some point though) but I've read the book it's based on and if it's half as weird (in a good way) as that then it should be fantastic.

It's mental, but addictive. It's one of those were you want to watch the next one to try and piece it together.

Just hope they don't drag it out to death because people will lose interest quite quickly

House of cards is truly amazing, one of the best by shows ever made.

American gods is a strange and intriguing show, and I'll admit I'm hooked. I'm dying to see what's going on
Mr and the missus have little spells of watching House of Cards. Every couple of months we'll watch 3/4 episodes back to back. At the moment we're probably half way through series 3.

Did you ever see the UK equivalent on which it is based?. Classic TV and available on Netflix I think. Haven't watched it for a good number of years so it may be a bit dated now. Francis Urquhart would certainly have given Frank Underwood a run for his money though.

No not yet, but I've been told the British one was a fantastic watch, keep meaning to give it a whirl

Highly recommended mate. But it is nearly 30 years old now and I haven't watched it for years, so it may have dated a little. Hope not. Ian Richardson, in the lead role, is absolutely brilliant. A bit like Charles Dance in GOT. Much as I like Kevin Spacey as an actor, you can't beat the Brits for character acting.

S1, 2, & 3 were good - 4 meh
I kept waiting for him to get found out about pushing somebody under the train - and then, in the manner of the UK original get his come-upance, but up to now it hasn't happened.
S4 turned a bit...well, erm, 'soapish'
I hope S 5 is better.
