Cos True Detective is (imho) one of the best TV Shows (albeit over a very short run so far), and certainly one of the best acted, of the last 10 years

I really enjoyed it. Really looking forward to season 3 now and seeing Frank with some proper power.

I hate all of the characters.
Why is everyone an idiot bar Frank and Claire? Why do the Underwoods have no equal, or worthy adversary?

It's compelling TV but season 2 was a bit too far-fetched in the way Frank and Claire has control over everyone.

Looking forward to season 3, hopefully addressing certain plot points.

I can see what you're saying. Pretty much all the characters are despicable people.

Season 2 ended up all a little too good to be true for Frank and Claire. I can't see everything going so smooth for them next season. You would think that someone's going to actually challenge them, like I imagined the Walkers would have done.

I do see your point but i think it's meant to be fast paced and trashy so it doesn't really irk me too much.

Started watching a show called brooklyn nine-nine recently, funny show, has andy samberg in it and terry crews

I've watched the first season of Brooklyn Nine Nine, it's really funny. Made it into my weekly downloads list this year, alongside Parks and Recreation and Workaholics.

Louie's new season is about to start by the way, can't wait.

Listen to it carefully and wikipedia each episode after you watch them just so you clearly know what the hell just happened.

Have you watched Mad Dogs? Simm and Glenister are both in it, the first 2 seasons were good and 3 was ok but I was disappointed with the final series.

Not sure how I missed you quoting me. Only got LOM as a friend ripped it and gave me episodes in batches.

Finally got the Beeb America, so some access to some shows, although half are just our shows - Star Trek Next Gen or Kitchen Nightmares (US episodes are about 70%) ... Other shows include Atlantis and Orphan Black, though I've not bothered with either, as well as Top Gear, Who and TW re-runs.

There's too many series I want to watch but I've come to realise I can't invest my feelings into more than two series at once, I can't handle it.

I've found if there's more than one decent show airing at the same time I can keep up (for the time being there's Parks & Recreation, Fargo, Community and New Girl (yes New Girl)), but I can't watch more than one old show at the same time where there are dozens of episodes for me to catch up on. A simple one a week for a show I'm up to date with is fine, but I struggle with huge backlogs
