So I've just gotten into Downton Abbey, and boy am I hooked. Just bought myself an Apple TV for my birthday and been streaming loads of stuff.

And I'm totally in love with Jessica Brown Findlay who plays Lady Sybil.

First series of prison break is brilliant. 24 keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. Dexter is so-so. Breaking bad is the best series ever. Disappointed they ended it, could of panned it out longer just seemed a little rushed in the finale. Currently on s3 homeland (hoping its as good as the first 2) and the blacklist.

Just finished mad men, unbelievably boss, better than breaking bad for me, I really enjoyed the first couple of series of breaking bad and the last series, felt there were too many 'wacky' moments in the middle, still a great series but just under my top 3 of the wire, sopranos and mad men

Have any of our American friends seen a new series called ''Black sails''...I'v just watched the first 2 episodes online and i think it will be popular over here....Its like a cross between ''Deadwood'' and ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' !

Get onto True Detective.

4 Episodes in (i've been streaming it as it's being aired in the states) and it's superb!

True detective is going to become an all time classic, 4 episodes in and its already up there with the best shows HBO has ever done.

Watched two series of Mad Men, and though its alright, it isn't compelling me to go back and watch more.

On season 3 of Sons of Anarchy, and it is brilliant. Better than Breaking Bad IMO, and I really enjoyed that.

Watched the first few episodes of The Wire, the other day. Couldn't get into it though. Should I stick with it, lids?

Yes, season three is one of the peaks in television of the previous decade. You could leave it from end of season four though

Really surprised I have to say. Season 5 ended some key story arcs in crappy ways which annoyed me I think. Season three was just brilliant and I couldn't be bothered with the school bits of season 4.

But still, we can defos agree the entire series is superb.
