For my next Netflix journey I've started watching Sons of Anarchy. A couple of episodes in and I'm not sure about this one. I'm thinking that you need to love motor bikes to stay interested in it.

I watched it, enjoyed it but also realise its a bit crap.

Just got a gut feeling I could be watching something a bit better. I've had enough of Mexican drug cartels for now. I think i need to look elsewhere for my crime fix viewing.

I watched a full series when it first was televised on BBC4 I think. Yes, very good especially the leading lady detective.

The Swedish Top Boy.

Not as good as Top Boy, but not much is. Still very good and a social comment on the lack of choices for immigrants in Sweden.

I just started homeland. Its really good. Apart from the bipolar cia bird. But you get why they made her like that as it drives the plot sometimes

Set in a very bleak and drab town in Poland in the 80’s. A prostitute and a local government official are murdered in a remote part of a nearby forest and a couple of kids commit suicide soon after.

A grizzled, old skool reporter and his rookie counterpart, suspecting a cover up, start digging into the police investigation.

It’s slow, atmospheric and just relentlessly grim, which is a lot to do with how bleak the lives are of the people who live in the town.

Worth a watch if you want to feel good about your own life.
