i thought Band of Brothers was a lot better than The Pacific. Must have watched it 3 or 4 times. Amazing series.

Also, there is a third series being made at the moment called Masters of the Air. Guessing that won't be out for a while yet though

If BoB had never been made we would be lauding The Pacific as one of the greats.Unfortunately it’s always compared to BoB which in my opinion is 10/10.

Agreed. But I genuinely think Band of Brothers is one of the best examples of war on film. Not that I lived through it like.

Masters of the Air is going to be on Apple yeah. It's directed by Cary Fukunaga who did the first series of True Detective which was superb. He also directed the new Bond film but lets see how that turns out.

Watched first episode of Mare of Easttown. Murder mystery in a rural american town where everyone knows each other, so it was always likely to be a winner for me. Very good episode, they really delved into the character of the victim which makes it all the more sad. Kate Winslet is excellent as a hardened and bitter detective, always good to see Guy Pearce too. I have high hopes

Watched this last night and I concur with Prevenger - Really enjoyed it, and liked the mix of black comedy, smalltown Americana drama and hard boiled crime thriller

Not as good as Top Boy, but not much is. Still very good and a social comment on the lack of choices for immigrants in Sweden.

Thats me upto date now with Ozark. So thanks to you nice people who suggested I give it a whirl. Rattled through series 3 now waiting for the fourth and I think final series.
A quick mention regards the ladies. Series one it was Wendy who had my attention. Second series was Ruth for her accent and profanities. Series three it was Darlene. One wacky lady.
