Yeah, no. Shut up and stop playing the judge. If people of one nation chose something then they obviously think it's best for them.

Also, somehow and funnily enough, whenever Eastern countries do something out of "western rules", million of conspiracy theories appear and apparently is all staged, wrong etc, but, and I am sorry for bringing this up in this topic and perhaps going too far, when west attack Middle East and Balkan countries and kill millions, it's all for some apparent "peace".

People of Turkey clearly do not agree with your western politics. Deal with it and move on. Just stay out of it and stop making a mess, please.
BUT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND MATE, THE WEST KNOWS BEST.

He can say goodbye to EU membership if he does.

He has the EU by the throat and he knows it. He could ask for anything at the moment, with the threat of sending millions of refugees over to Greece, with good prospects of delivery........

Indeed, Turkey should do what is best for Turkey and it's people without interference........

Just listened to,LBC radio some Turkish guy telephoned in to say their leader is brilliant!
Question if he's that good why are you over here
Then compared his tyrant rule the same as our Brexit votelol

Go there for a holiday at your peril !

Ankara (AFP) - Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said Saturday 161 people were killed in the coup attempt against the government, with 2,839 soldiers now detained on suspicion of involvement.

Yildirim, speaking outside his Cankaya palace in Ankara and flanked by top general Hulusi Akar who was held during the coup attempt, also described the putsch bid as a "black stain" on Turkish democracy. He added that 1,440 people had been wounded.

The toll 161 did not include the assailants, he emphasised. Turkey's acting army chief Umit Dundar had earlier said 104 putschists had been killed.

Some bad scenes of soldiers being beaten up after they have surrendered. Meanwhile the ones who gave the orders have fled to Greece.......

Enjoy it mate... Like i said. But remember you won't be able to give me grief n here if erdogan has his way

Apparently he currently lives in the USA, this could get awkward fast.

I was really confused when Erdogan referenced orders coming from Pennsylvania in one of his speeches, not knowing at the time who Gulen was or that he was holing himself up in some tiny town 90 miles outside of Philly.

Our state department has basically said "if you can prove it you can have him" and uh, yeah, then Erdogan and the Turkish PM started saying the things we're seeing now.

This should be good.

Same here, thought Erdogan was meaning Pennsylvania Avenue at first and was thinking "oh great, the US is back in the coup d'etat business again which has always worked out SO well in the past" until I did a bit of research!
