Says he's 27 on Wiki, which is youngish I suppose. I suppose we could pop him on the RW, too.

I'm not fussed either way. He'd certainly improve the squad.

I think Tuncay would be ineffectual stuck out on the right.

£6m would be good business, but unfortunately he's just not the player we need right now.

I'd love us to sign him - I bumped this thread 3 weeks ago. But he's been available all summer & we've had ample opportunity to make a move if we were going to do so. So unless we make an actual bid I won't be paying too much attention to these kind of rumours.

As i think ive said before, would love it. Sure he could play outwide tho as felliani/cahil will play behind the striker...

he's on the bench 2night 4 boro he most be on a wage a week with an extra wages when he plays so it looks to me boro want rid asap if he doent get sold he will just get left on the bench most of the season witch is a waste of a very good player

He is the captain of the Turkish national team and is the current leader in caps (65 - for outfield players) and goals scored (19).

Quality is quality and for a team lacking in depth in comparison to the Big 4, he'd be a solid addition. Plus, he can play as an attacking midfielder or a winger although I am not sure about his pace.

An experienced international player with a variety of roles - if the price is right, we should snap him up.

I see Moyes read my post!!!! Brilliant!!!

For 6 million, a pittance to pay for professional / international of his caliber. Could immediately step in with worry as to his ability or skill. Hope Moyes is taking Southgate out for a pint after the game - he does his best work over drinks!!

I would like to think moyes is at 'boro to watch Tuncay,

but realistically, he is probably after Huth or Wheater, we need a defender.

or maybe a triple bid? Tuncay, Huth and Wheater?
