I missed one myself, because he had the same surname as another one. Only just worked out now they're two different players rather one very long lived one who scored in both 1914 and 1951.

I was astounded to find out that Sharp was only capped 12 times by Scotland.

It's amazing how many top top scottish footballers in england got barely any chances for the national team, given the craop that get capped now.

Dunc too barely got any caps. And if you go further back guys like Halliday and Turnbull were scoring 300 goals in the english top flight and never got capped at all.

John Parker, yep. The team to get promoted out of the second division in the 1950s scored shedloads and had no internationals among them, so that's a good era.
