Had a great week so far.

Had a great week so far, the whole coastal area between Antalya and Fethiye is absolutely stunning.

If you like walking up in the hills it honestly reminds me of Central California, but a whole lot cheaper and less crowded. If you like to explore the coast you can probably find a little rocky beach all to yourself. History buffs will also love it, The Lycians, Hellenic history, Alexander the Great, Romans, it's all here.

Stayed in a place called Side, then moved onto Tekirova for 3 nights then onto Kas (ace) for 4 and now at a place that I don't even think has a name, but it's nearby Oludeniz. Beautiful view from my little cabin.

Went to the barber shop outside of Ephesus and the barbers were trying like hell to get me to buy coins of Iskandar (Alexander the Great).

You’re best off pre-booking things like that and it would cost you an absolute fortune.
Thanks. I was wondering because I did a distance between two cities search which gave the different ways of travelling between them,
and it worked to about the same price for a taxi as the train fare for three people.
I was thinking about doing it instead booking train tickets, but I suppose you'd have to give the taxi company a fair bit of notice and it wouldn't be much use if it was because you'd missed your train.

Train fares in Britain don't make much sense to me. I've got train tickets for three from Stafford to Plymouth in September for 434 pounds and from Plymouth to London a few days later for 106 pounds. Both midweek and same distance.

Yeh like they’ll charge you a bomb anyway I suspect but even worse without much notice that’s if they’d do it at all.

Have you got any form on railcard?
