Last time i checked we did not have a goal scoring midfielder, he would have done me. I thought the idea of the game was to score more than the other team. Not what we need at all. More of a goalscoring, direct midfielder than a creative one.

It will be fascinating watching Stoke, Newcastle and West Ham this season. These clubs are now flexing their considerable muscle after too long just living off their perceived 'glamour club' status (and attracting world class talent on the back of that alone). West Ham is already in Europe, expect Stoke and Newcastle to be knocking down the 'top 4 door' this season

off to be a Chelsea ReserveThey lost their best player in begovic?
They lost their best player in begovic?
I nicked the list from the Sky website. The incompetent arses...Nope. They lost their best player in Steven N'Zonzi who isn't even on this list.
exactly. everyone freaking out "getting outbid by stoke for shaqiri..this clubs a joke hur hur dur" when Stoke have already sold Begovic and NzonziNope. They lost their best player in Steven N'Zonzi who isn't even on this list.
Blimey.. Give yourself more time mate!!Cant understand everyone saying relax, we have looked flat all pre season so far. Albeit a good 4 nil win against a lower league team. However, when faced with premier league opposition, we struggled. Time is running out personally.
What exactly do you mean by all preseason so far.Cant understand everyone saying relax, we have looked flat all pre season so far. Albeit a good 4 nil win against a lower league team. However, when faced with premier league opposition, we struggled. Time is running out personally.
What exactly do you mean by all preseason so far.
Are you talking about the nine or ten days since they came back to training or are you talking about something completely different.
Maybe you didn't like the way they boarded the plane or dealt with the locals while on tour.
They played two games, one game played 48 hours after a thirteen hour flight against premiership opposition and the other against a strong Arsenal team who on the day were too good for us , but as I keep saying there was nothing at stake.
How many players were involved in that game, well over thirty...that tells us something about what was at stake.
This. Anyone who has ever played a sport knows that preseason is just a warm up. It's used for fitness, work on building team chemistry and trying new formations/tactics/etc. Also when playing teams that are in your league, division or group you don't show your hand in preseason when you'll be playing them in a month for when it actually counts. When the whistle blows on the first day of the season I'll be worried about the performance but until then take it for what it is, preseason!
This will come as a shock to you , but Arsenal did not get and premiership points for winning that game. You should have told Arsenal this !!
