I know the sky website has this, as seen in the link, but it's a bit too tenuous for me.

very tenuous tbh, for starters he would cost upwards of 15m as Porto and Benfica don't let their best players leave on the cheap, good player from the little i've seen of him in the uefa and a couple of league games ive sen him play, but dunno if he's worth that type of money and even if we did bid if he'd be wanting to not be playing in European comps with the world cup around the corner, much better options out their in spain imo

lol mate ive just been watching clips of him before you posted along with Muniain and moses and De Bruyne, theirs a lot of quality Am's/wingers around atm

Also Bilbao have a new manager coming in as Bielsa is leaving at the end of the month, finished bottom half last year so no european comp for them next year, so their players im guessing are gonna get linked with everyone this summer

Found it strange reading this on our sky text page last night, and then 3 pages about him but not one mention of us in them, only England, there are a lot of clubs in England.

Is right. There is no direct source claiming which club wants him, only that the interest is one from England. Yet sky claim we are the interested party. They are usually spot on but I won't be holding my breath.
 

Considering they bought him for 13million Euros last season and he had a cracking year, you're talking big bucks for this guy. Would be nice, but can't see it.
 
A hell of a player to me. But I don't think Everton has the resources to lure him out of Benfica. I'd say it would take at least 20M€ to start talking.
 
He joined Benfica from Atleti for 13m Euros, presumably a fraction paid by their in-house third party and some by the club. Probably bought out all previous third parties, probably not.

The ownership situation for someone from South America to Atleti to Benfica will be complicated as hell. Stay away, even he's certainly value for money.
