TRANMERE ROVERS PLAY OFF

I used to go for a laugh with my mates from school for a laugh on a Friday night, you used to be able to walk right round the place with no restrictions other than the stand.
I remember talking to the Golden vision as he was standing at the side of the pitch, I think it was Stockport County or someone like that he played for after us.
Talking of the stand reminds me of when the "new" stand had its official opening and Rovers played The RS to celebrate the fact.
1968 I reckon it was and Shanks sent over their full first team. Naturally loads of them came over the river to watch and after the game there was the usual rumpus in the car park. I'll never forget this Birkenhead bucko wading into a group of RS swirling this flag around his head whereupon it was taken off him by one of the biggest lads I'd ever seen who so hard brought the flag stick down onto the kids head and this split on his skull opened up splashing everyone with his claret.

Looks good.

If this is the case, its Newport's day today lol
There has been a 0-0 draw and a 1-0 newport win in the league this season

Come on Tranmere!

Some whoppers on here, sixties... kop.... it was the Open End in the 60s and 70s when I lived in Prenton.

I want to like them, but everytime I realise Aldo is their legend it puts me off completely.
