Happy to see Tranmere promoted. Been there a few times to take in a game, when over to watch Everton. Really don't mind the club. Always had a good time.

Whenever I think of Tranmere I remember them during the 90's and almost getting into the Premiership a few times, losing 3 playoff semi's in consecutive seasons. I think it would be good if they could get into the premiership one day. I prefer having close away days, rather than having to trudge to the south coast, North east and London.

I wonder what sort of police presence there would need to be for a top flight game between Everton and Tranmere. Has it ever kicked off in the past at all?

They and Everton used to get on quite good, got a bit on top after a pre season game were a few lads were pionted out and picked off, bit of bad blood as some Wirral Everton fans were with Tranmere allegedly.
Everton at a later game went at bit overboard in a revenge attack on a pub,
No on going thing but shame as we used to get on.
They had a good turn out for Liverpool in a cup game at anfield , supposed to be a bit of trouble on the valley
Got a few mates who follow them home and away cracking lads.
