I'm a Cowshed kid myself.
Many a young Wirral lad had to show he could handle himself in the crowd before you were allowed a bus and boat return.
15000 regular gates back in the early sixties, and in the confines of Prenton Park you had to be fleet footed especially at the top of the Kop by the scoreboard.
I used to go for a laugh with my mates from school for a laugh on a Friday night, you used to be able to walk right round the place with no restrictions other than the stand.
I remember talking to the Golden vision as he was standing at the side of the pitch, I think it was Stockport County or someone like that he played for after us.

I worked with two lads who are Tranmere supporters, both had bans from all grounds plus travel when England played away,From a small fanbase they are quite hardcore.

Come on Tranmere.

Said it before, but my dad’s been a season ticket holder at Tranmere for about half a century, until a couple of years back when ill heath meant he couldn’t really get to the game anymore.

He’s not been doing so good lately, so here’s hoping Rovers can get the win today so he can see them back in League One - that’s the bare minimum of where they should be.

I’ve always quite liked Tranmere. I hope they win for you dad, mate.
