Tottenham Hotspur

Loads of us did, he’s a good player. No idea why he left Atleti. Maybe a home thing.
Good chance he took a significant jump in wages. They may also have made a small profit on him by moving along a player for a few pounds and pence more than they signed him for but got 18 months out of. One of them "book profit" tedious details the excel venn diagram maniacs go loopy for.

There was I time I wanted him at us but he looks like he has dropped of a cliff quality wise.
Maybe its the Spurs effect I dunno
He never had any quality, overhyped for literally just running about and pressing, this is him doing what he’s always done. A wasp without a sting. I would recommend you to go and rewatch the Lampard Everton game against Palace that we won 3-2 at Goodison, Gallagher came on with them 2 goals up and turned the game in our favour, he’s an absolute nothing player.

Imagine the damage Richarlison would do in the Championship too !

They`d be the two that I`d be keeping, but there`s no way I could see either of them staying if they went down, as they`ll both be saleable assets, who are on mega wages.

Yeah, get what you mean, but I think it's unlikely they sell everybody on a decent wedge. Can see them selling between 5-10 players and keeping the rest. Would be a bold move to sell absolutely everybody. They might not be in a position to pick and choose who moves on though, so I'd personally put them all up for provisional sale apart from Solanke and see which ones go.

Obvs wouldn't keep him if he's gonna sulk like, but he's done next to nothing for 12 months so might find himself short of suitors if he's not gonna take a wage cut.

That could certainly help them if they dont get an automatic spot. However, I just read about how that system would work. 3rd and 4th go straight to the semi finals and 5th plays 8th and 6th plays 7th to see who qualifies for the second semi. It's potentially adding more lottery to the whole playoffs.

It'll certainly provide more money to the Championship though.
Say they have to shift most of their squad and have a terrible start, with their revenue, even in the championship, they'd be able to get to, say, 7th. Then it's win 3 knockout ties (are they two legs?).
I cant see a DeZerbi team with a decent budget not going up automatically or through the playoffs.
