Not at all, but we won a trophy with Solanke and not with Kane - funny how things workLet me get this right… So you’re saying you’d rather have Dominic ‘Sicknote’ Solanke over Kane or Son?!

I’m cool with it, none of this is winding me up - it’s not like I can do anything about it.
There will still be a football club that I will get to go and watch 20 times a season and that’s good enough for me
Goal!!!!Better than being Brighton
Like a few games we lost heavy. If we got that early goal at home in 1st few mins as we could/should have, it may have ended different - We will never know. But we then fell to pieces. Like everything, the game may even end up meaning nothing on the day. Time will tellIt’s a fixture that nearly always seems to fall fortunately for us though. We beat you 3-0 in the reverse under Thomas bloody Frank - our joint biggest win of the season.
We pencil Chelsea in as a guaranteed loss due to our record and Everton as at least 4 points - because that just how it nearly always transpires - admittedly it was just the2 points last year.
We also have a cracking record against David Moyes sides

Imagine boasting about being the richest club in the second tier like that’s something to be proud of.We would also be a financial juggernaut down there

And people say Spurs are a business first and a football club second. No, sorry, an NFL stadium second. Football club third.
Said it beforeYeah, we can tell. You’ve only spent the last 3 months crying and whining on an Everton football club forum. A club that isn’t even a rival or involved competitively with you in any way.
At the end of the day your football club is a soulless corporate scab organisation that tried to piggy back into a Super League on the coat tails of 5 other clubs, two of which are allegedly your biggest rivals. It exists solely to empty the pockets of wealth and middle class day trippers from every corner of the club except your own, you’ve betrayed your roots and betrayed the sport of football in pursuit of greed. I already know this stings because all you ever have to come back with is some meaningless guff about trophies, but deep down you know your football club is a soulless corporate entity, a disgrace to the game. Keep coming back and I’ll keep rinsing you you lil bish.

Those ifs buts and maybes often fall our way in this fixture.Like a few games we lost heavy. Wasn’t a boast, you’ve cropped that bit out. I was pointing out that it could be fun to go down for 1 season, buy the best players and bludgeon our way back upImagine boasting about being the richest club in the second tier like that’s something to be proud of.

Said it before
A) the fans were not supportive of it
B) these are the same owners that tried to relocate us to the East End
C) not sure why so many shots get fired at Spurs for this, it would have been a Euro competition - Spurs have 4 Euro trophies to Arsenals 1, we’ve won more Euro trophies than City.
I’m enjoying the banter, we’re slumming it and I’m making the most of it - when in Rome
Newcastle are not a big club and never have been - I will die on that hill.Glad I stumbled on this, fun to read, I fancy joining in.
In my opinion, A.Villa going down was a bigger deal than spurs potentially going down, but the media made Newcastle going down the first time round a bigger deal than Villa because they were a media darling club due to Keegan.
Spurs are only bigger news because they're in London. If the club were based anywhere else it would be the same as the other two.
Not gonna argue about the bigger club, but they've always felt like a hipster team to support outside of London, not likely to go down, favourable media coverage but not successful enough to be labelled true plastic
Yes, you’ll be able to have first pick of all the third-rate players from across the globe.Wasn’t a boast, you’ve cropped that bit out. I was pointing out that it could be fun to go down for 1 season, buy the best players and bludgeon our way back up
