That’s what I’m like with them. Don’t think anyone can hate this Everton team more than Everton fans.

One positive is that Carlo will know beyond a shadow of a doubt who he wants in this squad and where he needs to get rid. It'll be a slow process but he knows what he's doing - this is a man who knows the difference between players who are world class and those who aren't.

Well that was the worst game of football I’ve seen in some time. A slow Everton side lacking any quality in midfield (or a midfield actually), bereft of all ideas or urgency against a jammy Jose team that wasn’t much better. And that’s the bit that really annoys me. I would put money of 15 of the other 18 teams in the prem giving Spurs a pasting tonight... having the self belief and confidence to see that was a team there for the taking. We don’t play the 11 men on the field against us, we play the name... It’s a Sky big 6 club so we bottle it. We’ve done it for years.
They get a lucky goal and that’s it our heads go down and we never really look like getting back in the game.
However we do it we need to back Carlo I. The transfer marker and let him pick the players not Brands... it’s Ancelotti that has to work with them. If he want James from Real Madrid rather than a 24 year old Iwobi type (cause some stat-nerd thinks his predicted XG makes him a goer) than go with the multi champions league winning manager.
I’m bored of how insanely predictable this all is now. You want things to change you have to do things differently!

.... and breath!

It’s scary when I keep agreeing with Gary Neville , called Sigursson very early on and a few others, mind you not hard tonight to spot the shirkers . Perhaps even scarier though is when our best player is a kid who has usually played on the left of a four or left of a 2 , comes on and makes a difference on the right and steps up a gear when switched to a central mid role .

FFS. You'd think we'd played a dozen games since lockdown. We were absolute garbage. Evertonians seemingly readily accepting it too. Unbelievable.

So what happens if we don't accept it? Nothing.

These players have been through a raft of managers over the past few seasons. There is a reason for that, basically most of them are crap. Nothing will change until our world class manager is able to bring in a few of his own players.

Yet they still won without breaking sweat which says a lot about this Everton team.

it was an utterly pathetic game of football, played like a training ground game. I would say a pre season but even they have something about them.A fair result would be zero points for either team such was the lack of effort and spectacle.

project restart can kiss mine to be honest.

Absolutely. Worth saying that, as uninspiring as we were today, that Spurs team is going absolutely nowhere quickly.

Any team can see with this midfield and only playing 2 its so easy to play against. You need 2 good midfielders to play 442 and we don’t have them. Need to change until we can buy some players.
