I'm not that unhappy about the result , it's about the lack of effort from senior pros especially Siggy . Gomes isn't himself and Iwobi has a touch of the Martina's about him .
For .02 of a second I missed Morgan .

Same for both teams isn't it. They were pretty poor too, if not worse. Don't think it was as bad as people making out. Plus they're basically training games like everyone said since RS won the covid cup.

The worst part was watching Gomes, who might be able to do it a little, cower and pass backwards any time someone closed him down.

Mental just how one-paced he is... we had no chance once we conceded, the only way we’re winning matches with centre midfielders as ludicrously slow as we have is if we already have a lead to hold onto and the midfielders have the licence to just camp out just ahead of the centre backs and not allow any space behind.

We have absolutely no drive and no pace through the middle, too easily overrun.

I know that Kane was on the pitch at kick off, and I saw him a couple of times in the first half , but he disappeared until the 92nd minute. Strange

I thought the game they had against West Ham might be the start of his rebound but he was back to being Harry Ozil tonight

Out of the starting eleven today you could make an argument that Pickford,Keane, gomes,Sigurdsson, Davies and Iwobi, are just not good enough..and that Coleman has seen better days.

Positive - I thought Gordon looked good, even when played in the centre - has to start every game now.

Desperately need to overhaul our entire middle third and somehow add a bit of depth/quality to the squad as well - the subs coming on don’t inspire either.

Bring Gordon and Kean into the side for the remaining fixtures, push richarlison wide left and make some signings in the summer...

Some bed wetters in here. We were actually bottom of the league at one point this season. We’ve just played away at Spurs and lost to a deflected goal. Our midfield is way below par, we know that, but we did compete. Give Carlo some midfielders and all will be fine. I’d be more worried if I supported Spurs tbh

If we do, sack him. We look clueless in the top third of the pitch. Every pass seems to go backwards or sideways. Can any of our players actually take on an opponent? It doesn't look like it to me.

Why not just try and attack the box? Whats the worst that can happen? Lose possession? We already do that anyway by hoofing it up the pitch again.
