TBH would it be such a bad thing?
I can think of worse things given our usual start to the season then games against, OPR, Blackburn, Villa and Wigan. Not to mention we wont sign anyone untill the end of Aug anyway, Coleman and Arteta will miss this game as well.
yep, peeps have waited months for the opening game and waiting another week would be just harsh.
the game probably wouldn't be played until mid-winter mate, by which time Tottenham could be in full swing, I'd rather just get the season started with a summer saturday trip down to London as planned.True, but the season will be back in full swing, as long as their are teams kicking around something inflatable after the drival of the summer ill be happy, i would be dissapointed of course, but if actually meant we could face them with a stronger team and have a handier start - i wouldnt be against it.

I hear you mate, but if its cancelled its a massive pain in the backside for them - they will be playing Thurs and Sunday anyway in the Europa the last thing they want is an extra fixture against us, they will be the freshest they will be at the begining of the season.
On our Official Site that the game is going ahead. Sorry can't post link.
