Two nil down, and Allardyce complains that the team then abandoned the pre-match plan.

Two nil down, Sam, and the pre-match plan clearly wasn't working!

Bolasie,Martina,McCarthy,Jagielka,Williams & Lennon are just not good enough....

This side needs pace injection....Walcott would be a good inclusion...

We have good young players Kenny,Holgate,DCL,Davies & Lookman but they need more experience & game time...

We will struggle this season & need to sell & buy again in the transfer market next year....

London toffee here, was at the match.

It was like watching the U-18 team get schooled by the senior team. Tottenham were fitter, better drilled and much more athletic all around. They attacked the space and defended high up the pitch. It really gives me serious concerns that Everton's ability to be more than the sum of our parts is lost under the new regime. We always had weak links in the past, but the collective made up for this through good tactics, discipline and fitness. We also don't have any partnerships between players in the current side. In the past you always knew that certain combinations of players in the centre or left side would find space and make an option, in this current side the players dwell on the ball or pass back because they don't know where their team mates are or if their full back is making a run into space (clue: they aren't).

We have a dangerous mix of too young players ( holgate, kenny, dcl) and over the hill players (Jags, Williams, Rooney) who canni be relied on to execute a game plan for 90mins consistently.

Today really highlighted for me the lack of a plan or central idea for our club.

What is Everton in 2017? Not sure that I know anymore, am this makes me sad.

Worrying times indeed....

We have fallen behind the top 6 by a long way & it will take a few seasons of buying & selling to get back to the top 6...

Mom was M holgate he is becoming a reliable prospect.....

Don't think bfs will have the vision to take us to that level but maybe he can lay some better foundations than we got at present....

Desperate performance. Bin Rooney for good. Gylff is our number 10.

Lennon . Nice lad, contributes nothing of worth, bin .lookman can do no worse, play him. didn't he do great last week. Yet last night not a sniff.

Davy Klassen . You don't get to play for Netherlands and become Ajax captain if your crap. that doesn't happen. Play him.

We need a left back, Martina is not one.I Don't blame him. It's not his position , replace before we go out spending money on attackers.
The traveling fans deserve far better than that.

This side needs brain injection first...headless chicken also pacy

I went for Holgate, he had the beating of Kane for the most part, but he can't be expected to do everyone else's jobs for them.

A proper left back is desperately needed asap, we can't afford to wait and see if Baines comes back.

This Everton team are quite capable of getting thrashed without any assistance from the match officials by the way
