He's taken a lot of stick over the years, but watching him in what turned out to be his last ever game for Everton. It was so good to see a player that knew how to defend, especially after watching us this season. A real great servant of Everton Football Club. One Club man, is not a term that is known in this day and age. If Hibbert was effective going forward, I really believe he'd of played for England.

If he was just that bit better he would have been great for England

Good luck Hibbo, you lived all of our dream. Top man who I hope gets given a role somewhere in the club (Hopefully not with the strikers though).

I remember him playing against City a few years ago when we had no centre-backs; if memory serves Aguero didn't get a kick and we won. He should have played more than he did, especially lately when he would have been better than Alcaraz and a few others (even Stones in that horror show at Anfield in Martinez's first season).

I remember that well,I'd gone to Villa the previous saturday,Shane Duffy had his debut and didn't put a foot wrong, the following tuesday/wednesday we had City at Goodison,Shane wasn't injured,he decided to move Hibbo to centre back,I think he was up against Dzeko,I thought Moyes had lost the plot, but he was outstanding in a 1-0 win for us!!

....apologies for being controversial but the fact that a professional footballer in the modern age had so much game time and failed to score a single goal is shameful. I saw him score for the youth team at Bury and he has a shot like a mule but he didn't re-produce that is not something to be celebrated.
