I see the huge grooming gang in Huddersfield has been convicted , a gang so big that the defendants had to be split into a number of smaller trials so as a result very strict reporting restrictions were imposed to not risk prejudicing any of the juries. That’s why Robinson was arrested and why the restrictions had been imposed .

I’m just happy that these have all been convicted and Robinson’s self-obsessed,look at me carry on didn’t effect the chance for the victims to get justice.

i see one of his EDL buddies has been accused of being a peado too, assume theyre all at it now by SYL's logic

He's a tit and was rightly arrested.

Should it have taken so long for him to be released on bail? I don't know. I just think they've made the situation even worse by making a martyr out of the tosser.

However, what isn't right is that the actual sick effers involved got 200 years. That averages out at under 10 years each, if my maths are correct. That's pathetic.

And bare in mind, I did jury service a few weeks back. I had to be there at a sentencing. It wasn't nice. But the guy, without going into too much detail, got 12 years.

What he did did not come close to what these horrid scumbags did.

The sentences obviously vary depending on the involvement in the offences , those are the core of it have been hammered with15-18 years and others who’d you’d imagine had significantly less involvement got less of a sentence . It’s the nature of the court system and the nature of reporting that the post trial reporting dealt with the more serious offenders and offending .

was just about to say got a lovely new home in bedfordshire to go home to now

One of his aides who quit a while ago said or at least alluded he treated donations as his own private bank account and is does seem that’s the case , the latest soldier x furore probably leading to huge spike in contributions.

Lucy brown her name was and this is actually what she said

“I thought genuinely that I was joining the side that told the truth and I’ve come to realise that it’s not. It’s just about getting [YouTube] views and retweets. This is a business and your outrage, valid as it is, will be monetised as such.”

“Such material has brought Robinson an affluent lifestyle, living with his wife, Jenna, and their three young children in a £500,000 house in a Bedfordshire village. The family is currently on a two-week holiday in Tenerife, the second holiday they have spent on the Canary island in the past four months.”

Obviously this was before his new £950,000 house was bought .

The man's a tosser, no disputing that.

Unfortunately I think his arrest and the subsequent uproar has only made things worse. It could have been handled better.

He broke the law having been told he’d broken the law and not to do it again , he went to court and pleaded guilty . Unsure what else could be done really unless you’re suggesting we change the law so people like him can’t garner attention ?

There was an article in the times at the weekend suggesting that he was happy to be convicted as it suited his agenda and he may dismiss his legal team as they were suggesting another guilty plea when he wanted his day in court to present his statements . The fella thinks he’s a rock star and he’s making a fortune .

The likes of Steve bannon backs him as the ‘backbone of this country ‘ but hates those that seek to enter the US illegally , square that circle . Ex-bnp member , founder of the EDL , convicted footy hooligan , police assaulter and fraudster who looks of his head on the other in half his videos playing to huge crowds and heading for lunch in the House of Lords inbetween newsnight and sky news interviews the world truly is mad .

The issue is how and why the judge immediately commenced the contempt trial after he was arrested outside the Crown Court, rather than seeking advice.

If he'd waited and took advice, I still think there'd have been a strong chance of prosecution as ultimately the evidence suggests he was in contempt.

All that could have caused a serious trial to potentially collapse as there's questions of a fair trial, possibly perjuring the jury of future trials etc.

I think , from reading your posts , I’d guess you’ve got a clue on this . Doesn’t a judge often with contempt issues in their own court swiftly ? As I understand it In this case SYL has been brought before him and pleaded guilty , I accept its swift but it’s not unheard of is it ?

Was it the same judge that convicted the anti-frackers and had an undeclared conflict of interest?
