I agree. It's a bit sad really,
With safe standing apparently being a valid option these days... who knows what the owners might decide.

Its not too late. The club will need a major pair of balls to pull the plug on bmd. Put it'll be the biggest and best decision they will make. And one that I'll be looked back on with fondness in hindsight.

Hah. Too soon I'm afraid, the fact that they are on par with Barcelona debt wise has yet to settle in...
And the old WHL is not Goodison.

If BMD is as wimpy an atmosphere as the Emirates, you make a decent point, but as maintaining the atmosphere was a major design key for BMD, it is a moot point. I'd say Highbury and Goodison were pretty comparable though, allegiances aside.

Fast forward three years and the day of the stadium opening. Fans walk up and find out its just a projection on a big white sheet.

Moshers will say I told you you'd have a new stadium. Shame we can't use it

Think I’ve sorted the problem, readily available materials and we can redevelop/extend at a time in the future.

If that gaf was once the best gaf in the world with major historical attachments, Tudor, the lot. It'd be worth redevelopment.

don't forget the billion pound. people were complaining we couldn't afford a two year deal for Salomon Rondon last week, so I wouldn't automatically assume that billion pound is just sitting there.

That's good replica of goodison but looks about 20% even more on top of the pitch. Looks like a fierce place.
