Just read that Tom Hanks is apparently fond of saying he only made four "pretty good" movies. Got me to thinking which ones I would nominate: his own apparently include Cloud Atlas which I have never seen.

Apollo 13, Green Mile, Charlie Wilson's War, Catch Me If You Can - are my four.

I don't care for the central premise that life is like a box of chocolates. Packet of Frazzles, certainly, full of artificial highs and lingering feelings of remorse for days after.

Or, life is like a chocolate orange, hard to break into and ultimately sickening.

Also, I hated Jenny. Properly hated Forrest too. Pair of Koppites.

I've always loved his 80's stuff, The Money Pit and Big are two of my all time favourites however Batchelor party, Joe versus the volcano and Splash were great too.
