Rooney gives the ball away for first goal last night under no pressure, martina throws the ball to Utd player for second goal but people choose to criticise a player who's going through a rough patch in a poor team. Laughable
He never hides, that's why he's constantly in the spotlight. But I also agree he gets away with more being scouse.Thought he was one of our better players against United, never hid
that and standing back and making pogba and co look brilliant instead of actually getting close and been aggressive like McCarthy showed when he came onThat is what put us on the back foot and then had us chasing the game.

Davies has that in him too but needs to stick to what he is good it. Tends to take players on when he doesn't have that turn of pace. better looking for a one too and getting into space. never hides as said above and tries to get us going forwardExactly, not great but McC followed Sam's instructions get stuck in never mind cards, or to have had a nasty piece like Besic on.
No surprise his best performance was against West Ham when we were playing a pressing game. Had to laugh when Allardyce said we weren’t pressing against United as we’ve made no attempt to play that way since he came in.He's a good player, just low on confidence and not playing in a midfield that has any balance. And isn't he like 19 or something? Thought he had a good first half against Utd anyway.
He needs to be playing in a high pressing system – he'd probably thrive at the Redsh*te.
